EXCESS BEARING
INVENTORY
Excess bearing inventory ties up capital, racking, and audit attention. We convert it to cash with one transaction and no handling work on your side.
Excess bearing inventory is stock beyond any realistic consumption horizon. It appears when equipment is retired but spares remain, when minimum order quantities exceed actual need, when a standardization program changes approved part numbers, or when safety-stock levels set years ago were never revisited. In most maintenance operations, a meaningful share of the bearing crib falls into this category.
The carrying cost is more than shelf space. Excess inventory consumes racking that could hold active parts, adds time to every cycle count, distorts inventory valuation on the balance sheet, and often triggers obsolescence reserve discussions with auditors. Meanwhile the stock itself depreciates as part numbers are superseded and secondary demand shifts to newer designs.
Our valuation is built for exactly this material. We price on brand, part number, size, condition, and live secondary-market demand rather than on original cost or scrap weight. Premium brands and larger bores carry the strongest values. Crucially, because our resale channel is industrial rather than retail, obsolete and discontinued part numbers still command real money with us — plants running older equipment often cannot buy them new at any price.
We accept the full range of conditions found in real inventory: new in box, new without box, shell variance, reconditioned, and graded used. Unlabeled bins, opened cartons, partial sets, and mixed pallets are normal and do not reduce our interest. We also take the slow-moving remainder that other buyers decline, so you are not left holding the unsellable fraction after the deal.
Reporting matters to many of our sellers, so we make the transaction easy to document. You receive an itemized offer showing how each portion of the inventory was valued, a clean purchase record for your books, and a defined pickup date. For companies clearing inventory ahead of a fiscal close or an audit, this documentation is often as valuable as the cash itself.
If excess bearing inventory has been on your action list for more than a quarter, a single call resolves it. Contact Bearing Buyers for a free valuation of your overstock and obsolete bearing inventory, with no obligation to proceed.

How much are my surplus bearings worth?
Value depends on brand, part number, bore size, and condition. Premium brands such as SKF, Timken, FAG, NTN, and NSK carry the strongest secondary demand, and larger bores are generally worth more per unit. New-in-box condition prices highest, followed by new-without-box and shell variance, then graded used. Send part numbers and quantities and we will return a specific cash figure within 24 hours at no cost.
Do you pay for shipping and pickup?
Yes. We cover freight and pickup nationwide, and we supply pallets, crating, and rigging where needed. Bearings are dense and heavy, so freight can otherwise consume a large share of the sale value. Because it is on us, the number we quote is the number you keep.
Will you buy bearings without original boxes?
Yes. Bearings removed from original packaging but never installed are called shell variance, and they remain unused with full service life. Missing packaging reduces value modestly rather than eliminating it. Many sellers are quoted scrap prices on this material elsewhere; we buy it at real market value.
What is the minimum quantity you will buy?
There is no formal minimum. We buy single pallets through full warehouse liquidations. For very small quantities we may consolidate pickup with other freight in your area, which can add a few days to scheduling but does not change your offer.
How fast is payment?
Most transactions close within three to five business days from first contact. You receive a firm cash offer within 24 hours of submitting details, freight is scheduled on acceptance, and payment is issued immediately upon verification against the agreed inventory list.
