SELL INDUSTRIAL
BEARINGS

We buy the heavy stuff — large-bore, mounted, and heavy-duty industrial bearings from mills, plants, mines, and processing facilities across the country.

Industrial bearings are a different market from small commodity ball bearings, and they need a buyer who understands that. Large-bore spherical rollers, split pillow blocks, mounted roller units, thrust assemblies, and heavy-duty tapered sets can each carry substantial individual value. Bearing Buyers evaluates industrial bearings unit by unit rather than by pallet weight, which is why our offers on heavy inventory are typically well above generic surplus dealers.

We buy regularly from paper mills, steel mills, cement and aggregate plants, mining operations, food processing facilities, power generation sites, water treatment plants, and marine and offshore operators. Each of these industries stocks deep spares for critical rotating equipment, and each accumulates bearings that outlive the machines they were bought for. That surplus is exactly what we purchase.

Size and brand drive industrial bearing value most strongly. A single large spherical roller bearing from a crusher or kiln can be worth more than an entire pallet of small units. Premium industrial brands — SKF, Timken, FAG, NTN, NSK, Dodge, Rexnord, McGill, and Torrington — hold strong secondary demand because plants replacing critical equipment prefer known manufacturers even in the surplus market.

Documentation helps but is not required. If you have part numbers, quantities, and purchase records, valuation is faster and more precise. If all you have is a row of shelves and no paperwork, we will work from photographs and on-site counts. We are used to walking maintenance cribs where the last accurate inventory count is years old.

Logistics on industrial bearings can be genuinely difficult, and we handle it. Large mounted units may require forklift access, crating, or flatbed freight. We arrange rigging and freight at our expense and coordinate with your plant on access windows, safety orientation, and dock scheduling so the pickup does not disrupt operations.

If your facility is carrying industrial bearing spares for equipment that has been replaced, retired, or reconfigured, that inventory is a recoverable asset. Contact Bearing Buyers for a free evaluation of your industrial bearing surplus, including on-site assessment for larger inventories.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much are my surplus bearings worth?

Value depends on brand, part number, bore size, and condition. Premium brands such as SKF, Timken, FAG, NTN, and NSK carry the strongest secondary demand, and larger bores are generally worth more per unit. New-in-box condition prices highest, followed by new-without-box and shell variance, then graded used. Send part numbers and quantities and we will return a specific cash figure within 24 hours at no cost.

Do you pay for shipping and pickup?

Yes. We cover freight and pickup nationwide, and we supply pallets, crating, and rigging where needed. Bearings are dense and heavy, so freight can otherwise consume a large share of the sale value. Because it is on us, the number we quote is the number you keep.

Will you buy bearings without original boxes?

Yes. Bearings removed from original packaging but never installed are called shell variance, and they remain unused with full service life. Missing packaging reduces value modestly rather than eliminating it. Many sellers are quoted scrap prices on this material elsewhere; we buy it at real market value.

What is the minimum quantity you will buy?

There is no formal minimum. We buy single pallets through full warehouse liquidations. For very small quantities we may consolidate pickup with other freight in your area, which can add a few days to scheduling but does not change your offer.

How fast is payment?

Most transactions close within three to five business days from first contact. You receive a firm cash offer within 24 hours of submitting details, freight is scheduled on acceptance, and payment is issued immediately upon verification against the agreed inventory list.
